However, it has a few example programs that can be helpful and provides decent coverage of generic topics such as GPS module interfacing, UART's, the I2C and SPI protocols. The book tries to teach basic concepts on both microcontrollers and programming in Python in a way targeted at beginners, but it does not cover either topic sufficiently well for a beginner, intermediate or advanced person. Although customers agree the author is an expert on the Arduino microcontroller, they Consider the book disjointed, poorly written, and uninspiring. It covers too many different boards in such a small space, and its technical content is out of date, making it almost worthless to learn Micropython.
